7.74

Goal: Reach the third enrollment bracket
Resul: Mission accomplished

Let's rewind a little.
I took the chemistry and physics exam. Sadly, as soon as I read the chemistry one, I felt hopeless. Ultimately, I didn't manage to improve my chemistry grade. The next day, the library was full, which indicated that a lot of people had either failed physics or wanted to improve their scores.
Objectively, if I had failed the class, I would have felt relieved once I saw the exam. One of the exercises was about something from the very first class. I didn't remember the final formula but I still got some points for that question.
Anyway, I got 57/100, which, after calculating it together with the average of my lowest partial, brought my physics grade from 6.05 to 6.54
My overall average went from 7.40 to 7.74
I also want to point out that English I helped too, since the platform already reflects the grades I got when I took the placement exam.
And now, I have to wait from an email telling me which schedule I have to enroll in.
I was so focused on achieving this that I completely forgot about my upcoming birthday.
Unnaceptable
It's next Thursday!
And I don't have an oven.

...That reminds me: I haven't blogged about it.
Less than a year ago, I was ecstatic and thrilled when I bought an electric oven.
Then I was sad because I hadn't clean it properly, which caused brown spots to appear.
Now, I have a credit note for $147 that I have to use within a year.

One day my sister told me that the baking function wasn't working but I noticed that the toasting function did work.
So, we took the oven to the local store because the warranty was still active, and they sent it to the technical service department. I waited six working days, and then I got a call telling me they hadn't repaired it and that I had the option to buy something else or order the same oven again.
It's basically a refund in the form of store credit because of a malfunction.
There is a new model available but I have to pay the difference of 20 bucks, because it's more expensive and doesn't have a discount.
I need an oven, so I'll probably end up ordering it but it makes me wonder wether that oven will last a year. It's the same brand: Black & Decker.

You know the saddest part?
I didn't even have the chance to say goodbye.

I have a few plans for my birthday: pizza, going out to a café with my sister, and making panna cotta.
See you next week.
