Christmas is here, and so is my new oven

I had been thinking about buying an electric oven for months, but I didn’t have the money yet. I searched through so many models, prices, brands, capacities, and wattages. 

I finally chose one: a Black & Decker oven with a 30L capacity.

But I wanted to see if, because of Black Friday — which is always in November — the price would go down. And… no. The “Black Friday discount” was the exact same discount it had had for months. They just made it look like a special deal when in reality nothing changed.

So anyway, Black Friday passed, and today I went with my mom to buy it. My mom took the chance to buy a small pan since we didn’t have one. And that’s it 

I got a new oven!!!

I am elated. It’s my purchase, it belongs to me, and obviously I’m going to share it with my family and teach them how to use it, but when I move out, I’m taking my oven with me.

I’m so excited to use it for the first time. I even made a survey on Instagram for my friends to decide whether I should make ginger cookies or a Christmas pound cake. So far, ginger cookies are winning.
