Week Summary
Sometimes, I get tired of writing, but I mustn't lose the habit of writing, so here’s a summary of my week. The briefest possible for both you and me.
Monday, April 1: Oral exam at CEN. My sister started classes. It’s her last semester!! Can you believe it? Soon, I’ll have to call her Miss Publicity.
Tuesday, April 2: My first day of vacation until next week when I’ll start preparing for maths, physics, and chemistry to get into Espol. I have to take the test in August (I believe), so I have a little more than four months to absorb all that knowledge and refresh some things from high school. My mom cooked chicken stew. Yesterday, my dad went on a business trip to the Highlands.
Wednesday, April 3: My mom went to Chanduy to handle the paperwork to install water and electricity in our house. My sister is in class via Zoom. I made fried fish. There were two of them, so I fried them, and I made a cucumber and tomato salad.
Thursday: My second paycheck, and then suddenly, a heavy rain for 10 minutes. We had barbecue wings for lunch.
Friday: I cooked shrimp with parsley. We wanted a different protein, so I bought peeled and deveined shrimp at the store. My dad came back home.
Saturday: My sister cooked fish.
Sunday: My mom came back home around 7 pm from Ballenita with my aunt and grandma. My sister went with my dad to La Paul, and I stayed home, attending to the clients of the store and cooking a mouthwatering "seco de pollo" accompanied by sweet ripe plantains fried, sliced radishes marinated with lemon, avocado, and passion fruit juice.
