EL AMATEUR

Today I didn’t have classes at the academy.

I woke up around 8:00 to prepare fish for my dad—he’d just returned from a business trip early this morning, and he loves fish. For lunch? We had fish again.

In the afternoon, my dad suggested going to the movies. My sister quickly checked the theater’s website, and we agreed to watch The Amateur. The showing started at 3:50.

It was amazing!

It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a good action movie.

This one had:

✔ Revenge

✔ Action

✔ Humor

✔ Pure entertainment

✔ Excellent performances

It just hit theaters, so if you’re planning go to the movies, this is a solid pick. 10/10—highly recommend.

After the movie (around 6:00 PM), we ate at the food court. I got yuca bread and yogurt, while my dad and sister ordered tallarines orientales (Oriental-style noodles).

On the way home, we raved about how great the film was. As we got close to our house, we saw a car accident—two vehicles had collided, and the drivers were arguing. We’re not rubberneckers, though, so we drove past and hoped they’d sort it out.

A great day with a spontaneous movie outing. My family’s full of cinephiles, so it was perfect!

Pdta 2: Hoy inició el festival de música Coachella y al parecer Lady Gaga devoró con un show de dos horas. La muchacha es una verdadera artista.
