A busy morning

I woke up at 6:45 to get ready for my interview. I whipped up some toast and scrambled eggs and poured myself a cup of tea. My sister also woke up because Mom texted me: "Que tu hermana te acompañe." And well, her wish is my command, so I woke her up.

We had breakfast, got dressed, and our usual taxi driver came to pick us up. It took us 40 minutes to get there, and we arrived at 8:50 AM. The security guard asked for my ID (which luckily I had with me) and let me enter the building.

The HR manager, Katherine, was really nice and guided me to a room. It felt like a real job interview. A little later, a baker came in and asked my name, my background, my studies, the days I could come in, and my available schedule. I was worried she would decide on the spot whether I could stay or not, but she always used "when" instead of "if", so I was in!

She explained how things would work: there are different stations, and depending on my performance, I’ll rotate through different areas to learn. My schedule will be from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM because after that, I have to go to CEN to continue studying English and get my B2 certificate.

Anyway, I start tomorrow! I'm excited but also a little nervous. Still, I’ll do my best and stay focused—I don’t want to screw this up.

After the interview, we went to the Metrovía terminal and took a bus home. It was a busy morning, which, starting tomorrow, will become my daily routine.
