A Dynamic Duo

Three words: A chaotic couple.

Yesterday, I finished Lovely Complex. This anime was released in 2007, and it is about a romance between two classmates, Koizumi Risa (ella) and Atsushi Otani (él). They don’t get along very well, as they are always arguing (in a funny way), and they are known as a dynamic duo. But as they get to know each other, they find they have many things in common.

I didn't watch a lot of anime, but this is a light, funny, and sometimes frustrating one.

Little by little, they begin to have feelings for each other, but just one thing: She is tall, and he is short. And both have a complex about it. That is the "unconventional thing."

Otani often makes me want to hit him with a shoe for being so insecure and for giving ambiguous signals to Risa, who is the one that declares her feelings to him.

Risa, sometimes… tries too hard, but she is a very brave girl.

And I love the camaraderie with their other friends.
